Personal Photo Collage Wallpaper

Personal Photo Collage WallpaperThis is not the first post I have wrote about the celebration of my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary – but I promise it is the last! As a family we gathered together and spent a week in beautiful Bend, Oregon and then on my parent’s actual anniversary my sister and I hosted an open house so the extended families could help celebrate. The festivities were wonderful, however, I wanted to make sure that my parents had a permanent keepsake of the events.

Fifty years of marriage is worth celebrating more than once (OK we did celebrate for seven days and then a second occasion) but I wanted them to feel like they were always surrounded by family. My parents live quite a distance from their children and grandchildren. They are currently renting their home so I knew that I wanted a decorative keepsake they could display on one of their many white walls. OK – let’s face it – I did not really feel the need to have my picture on permanent display – but this is not about me.

What solution did I come up with? Removable photo wallpaper! This concept is genius for bare walls especially in rental and leasing situations. I also love that it is removable…I know what you are thinking they might get tired of looking at me….but really I was thinking how perfect for when they move or if they decide it displays better on a different wall after hanging. I was concerned about the actual application of the wallpaper, but after reviewing their FAQ I realized that application was all about having a clean surface, a tape measure, and a second person to help make sure your 24″ x 36″ wallpaper is level.

If you have celebrated a milestone birthday, a family reunion, went on an amazing vacation and your photo memories are hiding on your computer – now is the time to display them with your own custom photo wallpaper. I can’t wait to give this to my parents for Christmas. Who are you going to surprise this holiday season?

Schedule a 20 minute complimentary phone consultation today! We would love to learn about your photo collection and share with you how we can help you preserve your stories and create a beautiful family legacy for your family.

I am the momma to two children and was an Oregonian for the past 25+ years. A job transfer for my husband (in the summer of 2016) resulted in a cross country move and now I am a Massachusettsan. I confess, I had to look up the demonym! The birth of my son 20+ years ago was also the start of my entrepreneurial adventure. Photos have always been at the core of my businesses and continue to inspire and drive my passion to create beautiful keepsake photo collections for my clients.

Love it! What a wonderful gift! I made one of our trip to Hawaii and it is such a great way to remember those fun times every day instead of having them stuck on a computer!

Michelle, I have seen your wallpaper creations and I love the sports one you created for your son. Keeping the memories alive and telling stories in creative ways is one of my favorite aspects of helping people with their photos.

I have loved all of this. I really looked over the Blurb site and love it. I have been using Lulu.com and really liked it but Blurb really looks great. Wonderful site. I tried to discover if once you make a book if you can share it online with others. I see you can prepare it online but I thought an online book would be great for extended family members. Course I would want it printed also.

I love the idea of converting scrapbooks into digital books too. I am a former Creative Memories consultant so could use their products to edit and then convert to PDF or jpg’s to print in Blurb. Goodness so many great ideas. I am going to pay closer attention to all your emails.

    Thank you,

      Ellen,
Thank you so much for your comments. I am not sure if Blurb allows you to share online, but I do like them as a vendor for books that are more focused on a story versus primarily photos. Let me know how it goes if you convert your creative memories albums. Looking forward to hearing from you again.
